The Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Service Center provides a free shuttle bus for guests departing in front of Kinosaki Onsen Station. The bus runs from 12:30 to 18:00 in time with arrivals of limited express trains from Osaka and Kyoto. There is no reservation required to ride the bus.
Guests can also walk to Shinzan from Kinosaki Onsen Station. It is about a 25 minute walk.
For guests coming by car, Shinzan is about 25 minutes from the Kitakinki Toyooka Expressway's Tajima Airport IC. -

Basic rooms are 10 to 12 tatami mats in size. These rooms are all Japanese-style rooms. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Basic rooms can sleep up to 4 guests.
Eight of the basic rooms have 2 semi-double beds. These rooms sleep up to 2 guests.
Shinzan also have 3 special Japanese/Western style rooms. These rooms also have two semi-double beds. These rooms sleep up to 2 guests. -

Shinzan is situated next to other buildings against a mountain, so there unfortunately are no views from guest room windows.

There are toilets with bidets in the guest rooms. Only some guest rooms have showers.

Yes, please bring your luggage to the shop on the first floor. They are open from 7:00-10:00 and 15:00-21:00.

Luggage can be stored at the reception desk before check in and after check out.
For 200 JPY a piece, you can also have your luggage sent to Shinzan via the Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Service Center across from Kinosaki Onsen Station. -

There are wheelchairs for borrow in llimited quantities. Please inquire at the reception desk. There is a wheelchair-friendly slope at the inn entrance, but please note the entire inn is not barrier free.

There are three parking lots. Each of them is free parking for the first 30 minutes. If you bring your parking pass to one of the seven bathhouses and show it to the reception desk, you can get 1 free hour of parking. The parking lots are located near Satono-Yu, Ichino-Yu, and Kono-Yu bathhouses.

It depends on each shop, but usually they are open until 10:00 PM.

You can receive your hot spring pass before check in time, the pass is valid starting at 14:00 on the day of check in. After check in you can use the towels from your guest room at the bathhouses. Please rent a towel at the bathhouses if you enter before check in.

Yukata are the clothing of choice in Kinosaki Onsen. Feel free to wear your yukata outside! Shinzan also provides wooden geta sandals for guests.

We will take payment for all fees at the time of check out. We accept payment in either cash or credit card. For guests with coupons or certificates from travel agencies, please show them at the time of check in.

We accept payment with VISA, MASTER, DINERS, AMEX, JCB, and most other major cards.

We unfortunately do not accept e-commerce payment systems.

For cash and credit card payments made at Shinzan, we can supply receipts. Please let us know the desired name to be written on the receipt at the time of check in. For payments not made at Shinzan such as online payments, vouchers, etc., we unfortunately cannot supply receipts. Please contact the third party from which you reserved your stay for a receipt.

Consumption tax and service fees are included in the stay price. Hot spring taxes are billed seperately.
Hot spring taxes are as follows per one guest: adults 150 JPY tax + 280 JPY service/night, children 140 JPY/night.

For requests not pertaining to allergies for religious dietary restrictions, Shinzan's chefs will adjust the ingredients to the best of their ability. Please note that all meals are prepared in the same kitchen. Dishes are all washed in the same way regardless of ingredients, so there may be small amounts of allergic substances on food.

Crab season is every year from November 7 until the end of March. During this time, Shinzan prepares snow crab banquet meals for guests. Outside of this season, Kasumi crab is used in meals.
